This is a original HAORI made in Kyoto.
I made a tweed Haori with the image of a Chanel jacket.
This work won the grand prize at the Kyoto HAORI contest.

While preserving the tradition of the kimono and haori and recreating their characteristic sleeves, we created the Chanel jacket, a coveted item that every woman should wear at least once, using this year's trendy pink color and tweed fabric.

 By placing the shoulders in a dropped position that is lower than the shoulder position of a regular haori, we designed the sleeves of a kimono to resemble puff sleeves while imagining the dropped sleeves that are popular in Western clothing.

 The fabric is Chanel tweed .
A haori jacket that would be desired not only by people from overseas but also by Japanese people.

 In order to eliminate the heavy image of a haori and create a lighter image, the length is shorter than the regular HAORI, and it also expresses the cuteness of an adult. In addition, in order to maintain balance, when both sleeves are opened, the length of the sleeves and the length of the body are the same, making it look nice not only when standing upright, but also when moving.
