Visit Fushimi Inari Taisha for the annual New Year's visit and New Year's greetings.

This year, in addition to praying, I also went on a week-long 'Oyama-nobori' (mountain tour) to the top of the mountain.

There are many mounds on the mountain of Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine, and you can visit them while climbing the mountain.

One of these shrines, Yakuriki-sha, is said to be beneficial for good health and warding off evil spirits, and it was crowded with many worshipers.
