Spring Photoshoot in Kyoto

In April, when the cherry blossoms bloomed, we had a photoshoot in Kyoto.

Cherry blossoms usually bloom around early April each year. We decided on the shooting schedule accordingly. But unfortunately, this year they blossomed earlier. So we could only see a few cherry blossoms on the day of shooting. However, we were lucky enough to be able to shoot on a beautiful sunny day.

Below, we'll share a few snaps we took on our phones to give you an idea of what it was like. These most definitely aren't the professional pictures that our photographer took — we'll share those at a later date.

The theme of this shoot was "Kyoto sightseeing." We shot at various iconic Kyoto locations including Heian Jingu, Nanzenji Temple, and the Keage Incline in central Kyoto. We also took some pictures at our favorite chocolatier in Okazaki.

Our model this time was Martha, a lovely American lady who has lived in Japan for 6 years. She is not a professional model, but she did great with lots of smiles.

Any dress fits her perfectly!!!

As mentioned, these photos are just snaps taken with our phones. We'll share the actual professional photos later. Can't wait to see how they turn out!!
