Visiting a Tea Farm in Kyoto

Recently, we visited a tea farm in Minamishirakawa Village, Kyoto.

We wanted to see it with our own eyes,
to feel the air, and to understand the environment where this tea is grown.

 

Grown at an altitude of around 500 meters,
the tea fields are surrounded by clean air and a quiet, gentle atmosphere.

 

 

What It Means to Grow Without Chemicals

The matcha we are introducing is grown without pesticides or chemical fertilizers.

As we listened to the farmer,
we realized how much time and care goes into cultivating tea this way.

And perhaps that is why the taste feels so smooth and mellow.
